Youtube - Likeability Score
Youtube - Likeability Score is a Chrome extension developed by Remynd that aims to help users determine the quality of the videos they are watching on YouTube. With the removal of the dislike count on YouTube, it has become increasingly difficult to assess the quality of a video solely based on its likes. This extension provides users with the ability to see the likeability score of a video, which is the percentage of viewers who liked the video out of the total views.
By displaying the likeability score, users can quickly understand whether the video they are about to watch is of high quality or not. According to the developer's analysis, average content typically receives around 2%-3% likes, while bad content receives less than 1% likes. On the other hand, great content tends to have a likeability score higher than 3%. It is important to note that there may be some exceptions, such as music clips, which can have lower scores due to being watched repeatedly or in the background.
With Youtube - Likeability Score, users can save time and avoid wasting their efforts on low-quality content by making more informed decisions about the videos they choose to watch on YouTube.
